Priyanka Chopra says she has been planning her wedding for many years. She also has several venues finalized for the wedding.

In the second anniversary issue of the fashion magazine Harper’s Bazaar, Priyanka opens up and talks candidly about various personal subjects, not the least of which is her plans to get married not once or twice or thrice but six times.

“I have been planning my wedding since as far back as I can remember! My ideal scenario is getting married six times (to the same man of course),” Priyanka tells the magazine.

Not just this, she has also decided different venues for the wedding.

“My dadaji's (grandfather's) house in Ambala - my 'big, fat Indian wedding'; underwater at the Great Barrier Reef in Australia; a church in Las Vegas - wearing a short black dress and with the priest dressed as Elvis; the intimate ceremony - at a small, beautiful church in Locarno, Switzerland. It's on top of a hill that overlooks parts of Germany, Italy, and Switzerland,” she reveals in the issue slated to hit the stands on Wednesday.

Priyanka also wants to have a nikaah because she thinks it is a beautiful, romantic ceremony.

The latest buzz in tinsel town is that desi girl Priyanka Chopra and videsi singer Lady Gaga were recently spotted together after Gaga’sMadison Square Garden concert.

Priyanka is an avid fan of Gaga for quite some time. Priyanka stated “I like her tracks, “Poker Face,” “Bad Romance,” and “Drag Queen,” so it was great to see her perform.”

“She is keen on doing something in India. I think she is going on an Asia tour soon and that’s really cool. I think it would be great for her to come down [to India].”

Priyanka had a gala time with one of her favorite singer. She added “It was great to see her, her voice surprised me, she has a great voice live!”

“I loved the way she connected with her fans, people really connected with her and her message ‘be proud of who you are,’ it’s a great message.”

Priyanka felt nostalgic after seeing her concert. It reminded her of those days when she performed at Wembley and Madison Square Garden few years back.

She said “it’s an amazing feeling to be on stage.”

Priyanka Chopra as a middle-aged lady in 7 Khoon Maaf: It takes an elaborate make-up session to change any actor’s age on screen, but to portray an aged character convincingly requires more than just right looks. Priyanka Chopra understood this well while playing a middle-aged woman in 7 Khoon Maaf.

In the movie, Priyanka’s character ages from 20 to 65 as she marries seven husbands in the course of her life. Priyanka says in an interview with a news agency that playing the middle-aged woman was most tough.

“It was a challenge that Vishal sir gave me. The transformation is very subtle. I observed the women around me and how they carried themselves in a certain age. There is no drastic change in my character. But the interim period of 40s and 50s when she is not young and not so old was the most difficult but Vishal helped me with that,” Priyanka is quoted to have said.

The 28-year-old said what was particularly difficult was to understand the psyche of a middle-aged lady.

“Ageing was not bad, but for me understanding the psyche of my character was very difficult. I had to portray her in a way that everyone empathises with her despite the fact that she kills seven people without remorse,” she said.

The movie has Priyanka paired with seven actors: Neil Nitin Mukesh, John Abraham, Irrfan Khan, Russian actor Aleksandr Dyachenko, Annu Kapoor, Nasseruddin Shah, and his son Vivaan Shah.

Priyanka Chopra Enter UTV Bindass 'Love Lockup" Programme

We already know that sugar ‘n spice lovebirds Kashmera Shah and Krushna (Govinda’s nephew) have been going through troubled times in their relationship. The latest is that instead of sorting out their differences in private, the couple have opted to be locked-up for a week on the UTV Bindass reality show ‘Love Lockup’ to thrash out their differences.

The more interesting part is that another Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra is entering the show to play narrator to Kashmera Shah and Krushna. Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra on Tuesday denied hiding huge sums of money at her residence after income tax (IT) officials recently raided her residences in Mumbai.

While interacting with mediapersons at the promotion of her upcoming flick, ’7 Khoon Maaf’, she said she has never seen such huge amounts of cash. Tax officials had raided the residences of Chopra and Katrina Kaif, on January 24, confiscating bank statements and income tax documents from the homes of the two actresses.

The National award winning actress is backing the Awaaz Do campaign, voicing her support for the movement in a video message encouraging people to sign up on the campaign website. "School was the best time of my life, I loved school. Every time I see kids going to school, it brings back such amazing memories of my own time," Priyanka says.

"Education can change lives. That's why I'm raising my voice for the 8 million children who are out of school... We've tried silence. It's now time to speak up for every child's right to be educated," she adds.

The Awaaz Do campaign was launched nationwide last month to raise awareness of the fact that eight million children in India, aged six to 14, still do not go to school.

Since the launch, more than sixteen thousand Indians have lent their voices to the cause, pledging their support for the right to education and joining movement by signing up on the campaign website or by sending a text message.

The Awaaz Do campaign uses online and mobile communications technologies to mobilise and empower people to become actively engaged in discussions and debates.
