One just doesn’t seem to be enough for this feisty femme! Deepika is all set to triumph in the South after signing a movie opposite the megastar Rajinikanth. What’s more is that Deepika will partner up with not just Rajni, but two other look alikes as well!
After last month’s tabloid reports stated that Deepika was considering starring alongside Rajni, it seems that she’s finally decided to sign the dotted line as she doesn’t want to risk missing out on the fantastic opportunity. This is the first time that the pretty Padukone is returning down South after she made her debut in the Kannada film Aishwariya five years ago.
Rajni plays a triple role in K.S. Ravikumar’s Rana movie, which will have a tri lingual release (Hindi, Tamil and Telegu). Ace musical maestro A.R. Rahman has been roped in to compose the tunes for the mega budget film. A reliable source says, Eros International will produce ‘Rana’, with Rajnikanth’s daughter Soundarya’s company, Ocher Studios. The films will go on floors, in March. Rana will hit the theatres mid 2012.” The Break Ke Baad actress is the latest to jump on the Southern bandwagon. She seems to be taking the same route as Rajni’s Robot co star Aishwarya, and Deepika’s tabloid arch nemesis Katrina Kaif, who also gained much fame down South before her now ‘Boom’ing career in B’Town.
