Actor Sarathkumar has announced that he will take a break from movies, owing to the 2011 State Assembly elections. The actor, who is currently acting in Tamil and Malayalam movies, added that he will complete his movie projects by the end of March and start campaigning from the first week of April.
Sarathkumar, who heads the Samathuva Makkal Katchi, has also announced himself as a candidate in the elections. Sarathkumar had earlier served as a Rajya Sabha member from Tamil Nadu.
